Valentine's Day is one of the best days in school. I'm not just talking about in the land of kindergarten, either. Valentine's cards from teachers, whether they are a lollipop valentine, a popcorn valentine, or a ring pop valentine,…finding fresh and fun Valentine's cards from teachers that students will love can be challenging.
They can often be “too” much.: Too pricey, too sticky sweet, too complicated…NOT ANYMORE.
You ever see gorgeous photo of a handmade valentine with the phrase “DIY” and think…yeah…RiiiiiGHT. The tools and supplies you'd have to buy at Hobby Lobby just to attempt some of these artistic masterpieces can be pretty overwhelming.
Then, the outcome can be pretty underwhelming. I mean…we aren't all Grade A craftsmen.
It can leave you feeling NOT very ‘Valentine-y'.
Trust me. If I can successfully DIM these nine fresh and fun Valentine's cards from teachers (or parents, or students…) – then you can DIY.
(What's that? What does DIM mean, you ask? Do It MYSELF. Yep. If I can do it…you can Do It YOURSELF too. 😉
Here we go: NINE simple, CUTE, cost-effective Valentine cards from teachers your students will LOVE.
Lollipop Valentine

I'm not sure if this is a nationwide thing, a local thing, or a few decades ago thing – but whenever my mom would go to the bank, I hopped in the car (sans seatbelt or carseat btw…my how things change!) to do a ride-along.
I WANTED MY SUCKER. My Dum Dum to be precise.
I thought I might want to be a bank teller when I grew up, just so I could be in charge of the sucker jar.
Any kiddo who receives a lollipop Valentine is going to be a happy kiddo.

Ring Pop Valentine
My kindergarten kiddos will get FIESTY for a Ring Pop. When they end up in my treasure chest – GAME ON.
I think these “Pop-Tops” are so cute!! These Ring Pop Valentines would be a BIG success.

Valentine's Bubbles Printables
Bubbles – bubbles….WHO doesn't love a good BUBBLE moment??
You can find these teeny tiny ones pretty much anywhere these days. The ones in the pic are from Walgreens.
Try Amazon, Target, Dollar Store…pick up a little box of bubbles, add your Valentine's Bubbles Printables, and Voilá! SUCCESS!
Popcorn Valentine
Wanna know what's back? Popcorn. Popcorn is BACK. My kindergarten kids bring popcorn for a snack EVERY DAY. Skinny Pop tends to be a top pick.
These Popcorn Valentines would allow you to simply add a tag, add a “Pop-Top” to an individual-size bag, or assemble your own with sandwich or snack bags.
Smartie Valentine

Throw your students a SMARTIE PARTY!!
True story: My mom, a retired K-5 Music teacher turned 4th-grade teacher, carries Smarties in her purse TO THIS DAY.
At church, to the little ones, she's known as the “Smartie Lady.” How cute is that??
Pop It Valentine

Embrace the trend. Embrace the kid's current obsessions. This one doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon…and keeps showing up in pretty doggone cute ways!
Blow Pop Valentine
I used to LOVE the rare occasion when I would find myself with a Tootsie Blow-Pop. Am I dreaming, or did there used to be one with a whistle??
Blow-Pop Valentine. Big Hit.

Crazy Straw Valentine
I THINK remember when crazy straws were invented. Truth.
My sister and I each had one, and they were WILD to us. We only had one each, and we took SUCH good care of them! I include one of these in my kinder kids birthday bags and they are OBSESSED with them.
Crazy Straw Valentine…they'll love it.

Pencil Valentine
I have yet to meet a kid who doesn't want a fun pencil. Add an eraser or a cute tag and you're SET.

I hope these 9 Valentine cards from teachers (or parents, or students) have inspired you and that you have found something you can DIY! Remember…if I can DIM – SO CAN YOU.
**All Valentines can be printed in color or black & white. All nine Valentines have multiple styles and designs to choose from. As of 2026, each is listed for $2.25 in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
